The Maa Parish Multipurpose Cooperative (MPMPC) successfully held its 27th Annual General Assembly last March 30, 2025, at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish. The event was highlighted by an inspirational message from the Parish Priest, Msgr. Paul Cuison, who reminded members of the value of unity, stewardship, and faith in cooperative work.
The assembly was attended by 237 active members, who actively participated in the election of a new set of Board of Directors, Election Committee, and Audit Committee members. Elected as new Directors were Gina Balbuena, Ryan Keath De Leon, and Ryan Tristan Digan, who will serve from 2025 to 2027.
In addition, three new members were elected for both the Election and Audit Committees, signaling fresh leadership and continued transparency in MPMPC’s governance.
The assembly was also filled with joy as members won exciting raffle prizes including electric fans, foldable tables, water containers, grocery packages, and sacks of rice, all generously prepared by the management as tokens of appreciation for their loyalty and support.
Following the assembly, the Board of Directors held its organizational meeting on April 6, 2025, where Mr. Ryan Tristan Digan was re-elected as Chairman, and Mr. Pio Melancolico was elected as Vice Chairman, taking over from Mrs. Emma Palanca.
This assembly marks another milestone in the cooperative’s journey of service, empowerment, and growth — all made possible by its committed members and dedicated leaders.
